The Auctioneer 008 is part of Auction Lot 8 from The Cup of Excellence Peru 2020 by Alliance for Coffee Excellence. Macondo & Friends cupped this as a solid 87-88 - the International Jury/Sensory Panel scored this lot an impressive 88.73, making it the highest scoring natural lot ever in Peru.

Eli has worked with coffee since he was a teenager, saving to buy his own land and a house, he now lives on a 4 hectare plot in Las Pirias, Chirinos. His hard work puts him in the position where he can now invest in his coffee - with a recent purchase of a Solar Dryer to experiment with drying and natural lots, the team was able to increase his cup score by about 3 points.
